DENTON TX – It's true, the moment you haven't been waiting for has finally arrived! Denton's BAD TIMES has set their new 4 song EP, “When I am Empty, Please Dispose of Me Properly,” for early November. Recorded with Britt Robisheaux at Eagle Audio in Fort Worth, the new EP comes loaded with four blistering, deft bursts of the catchiest rage you're likely to hear outside of hardcore.
The set begins railing against job insecurity in a way that is both twisted and sharp – it ends before you can catch your breath. After, you're lead into a tight dance number about an apocalyptic romance. You notice suburban mothers giving you the evil eye for having not been home from a night of drinking and hooking up with strangers. The set ends as you're set adrift into the Fatherlands, lost in a sandy sea of your own regret. Sonically, you're in Tom Petty meets Wire territory, but lyrically, you're in Joy Division country.
The EP is now available digitally, through bandcamp, and the self-released cassette will be available in November .
